SPOOKHUIS DER GESCHIEDENIS
Theatre company Wunderbaum made a play titled ‘Het Spookhuis der Geschiedenis’ (the haunted house of history) and asked Machine to design the print for the front of the tent they created to perform their piece. In the tradition of old circus attractions and the visual language used on attractions in fairs and festivals, Machine set out to create a disturbing collage of various disasters and political perpetrators and victims that have influenced our reality over the last decade. The play was first shown at the Rotterdamse Operadagen and will tour to Den Bosch, Amsterdam, Groningen and Berlin
