MYSTERYLAND VISUAL IDENTITY

Mystery land is ID&T’s largest annual festival, with a capacity of about 55.000 visitors. It is a very diverse festival in both audience and musical programming, that ranges from Hardstyle to Hiphop. Because it is so diverse we felt that the one thing all visitors had in common was the location itself. They are in fact all citizens of Mysteryland but maybe they live in different areas of the same place. Instead of creating one image to convey both attitude and atmosphere, we decided instead to create an alphabet that can spell out and thereby visualise anything including the name Mysteryland itself. The name is the message, the word is the picture.
